I finally got in the last of the stuff I was waiting on (stock, handguards, and some small parts) to get my A2 build assembled. This was probably on of the quickest builds I have done. It was almost 4 weeks start to finish.

Upper Assembly:
A2 Upper Receriver (no forge codes - unknown origin)
PSA M16 Type BCG
A2 Handguards (Rock River Arms)
Windham Weaponry 20" A2 Gov't Profile 1/7 Barrel
A2 FH

Lower Assembly:
Palmetto State Armory "Stealth" lower receiver (stripped)
Lower Parts Kit (misc.)
A2 Stock Assembly (Rock River Arms)
A2 Pistol Grip

Well done OP and a nice addition to your collection ... that makes 34 AR's right?  Just 2 shy of three dozens

Nice. I just built a very similar AR but I used a set of new triangular handguards I had. I need to change them out at some point.

Well guys, I took it to the range this morning. I only had to adjust windage and elevation by two clicks before it was dead on. The Windham Weaponry barrel is fantastic and everything function 100%. I am always pleased when another build goes as planned.

Very niiiiiiiiiiice!!

I do have to say this, I don't know if it's me or what, but the taper on those handguards look a little different to me.  Like more of a taper than typical.  I could be crazy though.

Typical A2 handguards.

The next thing I want to do is an A3 model. I had one a few years ago and sold it to another friend of mine. I use to have a picture of my A1, A2, A3, and A4 to show the differences. Once I get an A3 built again, I can show these clones: 602, 603/M16A1, M16A2, M16A3, M16A4. Then there is the carbine side of the house: XM607, XM177E2, 653, 723s, 727, and M4s.

That would be a Very Nice Collection for anyone to have.  How 'bout a Prototype or 601 build next?

Undecided as to what will be next. It would be easier to build a 604 or a XM16E1 than it would be to build a 601.
