I have a cheaper A2 round handguard im my AR and I'm looking for a original part Colt A2 handguard to replace my old one. I canno't find that part in stock on web stores...
Colt original parts seems to be hard to find and very expensive...

Anyone know where I can find the original Colt part in stock?
The RRA, WOA handguards does have same quality?

Thanks.

I'm sort of in the same boat.
Got mine from ASA and they appear to be CavArms C7 handguards.
Nothing wrong with them but they're not quite what I wanted.
So far it looks like ArmaLite has the correct handguards in stock that we're both looking for.

ArmaLite A2 Handguards

Here's a pic of the ones I got from ASA.  Notice the same shape/circumference as M4 style handguards instead of the more rounded A2 style.

Carbine or rifle length..?

I have a few NOS Colt sets in rifle length.

The Cav. Arms rifle set can be had in the "M4 Rifle" config, which looks like the one above.   I really dig 'em, although it's unclear if they ever saw military use. Sabre Defence used these on their 20" weapons and uppers....it's possible they may have been used on some or all of their small A4 contract.  The old Colt phenolic jobs from the '80s are hard to get now, but they were rather bulky and for sure heavy.  Still, if that's your period, yunz gotta have 'em.....good success !
