Nice! Hopefully everything goes together well. I want to order one but am still a little leary of them based on the things I've heard. I was leery too and probably will remain so but at least this one seems good. Their website doesn't show you your order history but they package and ship VERY quickly. I ordered A2 handguards today and got a tracking number in less than 2 hours. |

Looks like you just cost me some money. Nice stick. How's it shoot? Surprisingly good, especially given my eyesight. 25m zero groups could be covered with a nickel. Regularly hammered the 500m scuba tank gong at the range. Haven't shot it on paper at 100 yet. Ammo was PMC X-TAC M193 which chrono'd around 3200fps out of my other upper which is a BMC 20" A4 clone upper. |

Forgive my ignorance but, WW barrel? Sounds like it may go well with my future a2 upper Windham Weaponry. They are/were Bushmaster until around 2010 when they sold their rights to the Bushmaster name and rollmark to the Freedom Group Corp. Now Bushmaster, DPMS, and Remington AR's all come out of Ilion, New York. Bushmaster was located in Windham, ME.... Owners decided to stay in the game and reopened the plant with their new name. Windham Weaponry. |
| I should do something like that, but I'm not patient enough for gunbroker. I ended up picking up a couple from ASA, so I'm hoping they did a good job on them. I'm planning on using one for an A2 using a WW barrel like the OP did and possibly use the other for a 727 build. |

Mine just arrived. Alcoa forge mark if memory serves. Machining looks very good, flash marks are almost non-existent instead of prominent like the examples I was issued in the late 80s and 90s. Seems like the new management of American Spirit Arms really are doing things differently and better. Will post more once the rest of the goodies are here. All lint is mine and not the manufacturer's lint. No lint was included in the packaging. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/95369837/Pics/ASA-A2.jpg Is that lint MIL-SPEC? |
