I have a DPMS AR 15 marked A 15. Carry handle does not come off. Has forward assist and barrel is marked 223- 6.5. Anyone have an idea of the factory specs on this?

Check DPMSinc.com. You might be able to match it up there. If it's a 20" barrel is sound like an A2 Classic. 16" bbl, maybe a Classic 16 or Carbine 16.
