[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FN build

I bought a few 80% lowers and decided to use one of them as a FN build. Im just not sure where to get it anodized to match the grey upper.

If you dont mind me asking did you have to put your info on there as the manufacturer? If so where did you put it?

I didnt put my info as the manufacturer. As far as i can tell you dont need to mark a home made lower but its good to do so.

I may try and engrave it somewhere not visible just in case.

Ive been trying to get the Logo, im having a hard time finding a good photo I can import into CAD. I have 3-4 retro builds started, it would be nice to have them engraved correctly.

I know you were looking for the font type for the FN lower a while back and it turned out very nice. I vote for US Anodizing.

Thanks. it took a while to get it right. I used a picture of a FN lower and scaled it to size, then measure the length of each word so I could reproduce it as close as possible. I think it turned out pretty good. I may set it back up and try and cut INC a little deeper.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of extra time at work. But another member here (Braceman) makes FN lowers and does a real nice job.
