Has anyone had any experiences with a company called GAR. they have their own stripped uppers on sale for 69.95. Almost looks like there is a keyhole forge mark on the upper. looks like a good deal thats too good to be true.http://www.gar-arms.com/AR_15_Upper_Receivers_s/138.htm

I haven't had any experience with them, but for being a stripped upper doesn't sound bad. But I'd rather order the completed ones personally. Unless you are looking to buy parts separately, I'd stick to completes.

One of the other board members (elohim1) almost always has A2 upper receivers for sale in the EE, either Colt or FN, for the same price. His have always included the rear sight assembly. You'd just need a port door & forward assist.

ETA: After searching the EE, I see the FN receivers are $10 more. A Colt or FN A2 receiver with rear sight installed is a steal at those prices though!

There shipping is a little on the re-dic side.. $12.64 for a 1 lb upper.. via Priority Mail and $25.50 for UPS Ground..

So does anyone have experience ordering through this website or no? I am considering ordering the RRA Front Sight/Gas Block assembly from them and just want to make sure they're reliable.
