I bought an Armalite ML A2 upper. A-No. 1 product. It is a little heavier than an M4 /GI profile barrel, but that is a good thing. It is 1/9 twist, but chrome lined.
I also have one of their 20" standard barrels, which are also sort of a mid-weight profile. Good stuff. |

Armalite just calls their mid length an A2 carbine We don't make the "shorty" carbine gas system for the AR-10 but do make it for our LEC15A4CBK and 15SPR1LB model M-15. We invented the "mid-length" gas system for our carbines as it has a better gas pulse thus it's more reliable. Our 10A2C and 15A2C carbines have the mid-length gas systems. TR |
