You put your weed in there!  No seriously though, cleaning kit only.

I keep a standard cleaning kit in both stocks on my A2 and A4. I'm actually going to see if I can stick a spare bolt in there as well, but I doubt it.

In my time, I have both heard of and seen some pretty strange things stashed in there.  I have had people they put candy or smokes in there to which I tell them they are putting these items into a compartment that generally holds cleaning gear with PETROLEUM lubricants for cleaning out a weapon that fired LEAD ammunition and now you are going to ingest these items into your body?  You are going to have some FREAKY looking kids somewhere down the line!!!  I've also found moldy PB&J sandwiches along with pictures of "significant others" in some revealing poses that came back from down range. LOL

A standard buttstock cleaning kit goes in mine.  The chamber brush is usually removed since I have a hard time cramming all of that crap in there with the 1oz bottle of LSA, and I replace it with cotton-swabs, cleaning patches, and a few alcohol swabs just in case I ever needed to de-oil the pistol grip or my glasses.

A few extra rounds of 7.62x39mm.
Came in handy when I realized I'd hiked a ways to my hunting spot last December and had an empty magazine. DOH!
If I didn't have those rounds  would have missed this:

Hey, it's an A2 lower and A2 stock.

Good job Tex.  First time I've seen the 7.62x39.  Nice rack too. Females are the best eating or at least that's what the wife says.  Is that extra riser necessary on that rig?  I leave mine, A-2 trap door empty,  no need for excessive weight.  Might add some lead if getting real serious about my shooting but have kinda gone beyond all that.

Riser makes getting to the charging handle much easier.
Even with the tactical latch the charging handle is tough to get to without it.

I had have one of those little bottles of oil that come with the G.I. cleaning kits in one of my A2 stocks. Sadly, it leaked oil all over the place. I think you can only put a certain amount in there. Any more, and it'll leak.

Edited for the correct tense.

You've got to REALLY snug the caps down on those, 86....

Fill them, screw the cap on, close the "nozzle", and squeeze it gently.  If you hear or feel air coming out, tighten the cap and try again.
I had to really wrench on the ones I've got...

I also started tossing the chamber brushes from my stock cleaning kits, it seems like there just isn't any room in there for the kit AND patches...

Does the ALICE pouch fit in there, or do you just put in the contents without the pouch?
