As far as I can tell, the only left hand piston option is Stag Arms.
Is there any good way to get the older Adams Arms strike block and build a lefty Adams Arms upper?
I am trying to stay as light as possible, and the Stag setup looks heavy.
Thanks!

As a left handed guy I use right handed rifles albeit with all ambi parts. Check out the m6 IC. Works perfectly for me.

I do exactly this, and the LWRC m6  IC is a great fit for me. I've never even caught a piece of brass to the face. I would say the ONLY draw back is shooting suppressed as your face is right at the ejection port

I am a lefty also, so I built myself a LH SBR suppressor host.  used a STAG upper and BCG with the AA kit.  I have about 8k (most suppressed) without any issues other than an older gas key breaking; AA replaced the key and said they changed the metal, on around 4k after the replacement without issues.

The Stag is a great choice but as you said the weight may be an issue.  The next option is as the others have said is to go with an ambi setup.  Unfortunately, their are concessions that have to be made and only you know which will satisfy your needs.

With a shell deflector there's really no need for a lefty upper with a piston gun.  The piston cured my major issue which was oil spatter from a DI gun on my shooting glasses as I went grease and never went back.  The standard parts are a lot easier to find and replace if necessary as well.

I tell you though look at ambi lowers.  Rainier has their set on sale and I can guess with their name it's nice, but I built on the SanTan and it would take something serious to beat it.  Ambi safety, ambi bolt release, ambi mag release and looks good to boot.  I may never buy a standard lower again, unless someone figures out how to modify a standard forged lower with similar parts (and no Norgon or BAD bandaids compare to an ambi-engineered piece).

both the above posters are correct. you can build out a stag with one of our kits, but you should also not have any issues with one of our right handed uppers. i shoot left handed, and with a shell deflector it is never an issue, even when using a suppressor. throw on some ambi controls and good to go.

I remember my first ambi lower was an SR15 lower. After that I said I'm never going back. In my own opinion LWRC makes the best ambi lower on the market. It is even better when you pair it up with a battle arms safety selector. Drop a GA trigger in and you're rocking.
