i went with an adams arms. my only regret is i bought the evo edition instead of the elite edition, so i have a samson evo rail that i despise. as opposed to the sameson star rail that i love.

Being ignorant on piston systems (but I like the idea a lot) - Is piston SBR better than DI both in 11.5"?
Would Piston provide better reliability @ 8.5" to 10.5"?

Pretty good review and why I think that Adams arms is a fantastic choice for sub 14.5" rifles/pistols...

I prefer Pistons for SBR's aside from reliability, there is less muzzle flash with a piston gun.
