I just pulled the trigger on buying an LWRC REPR LEONIDAS edition,
I cannot find many reviews online or YouTube videos, are the Majority of these 300 units still on gun shelves or are they safe queens? |

I haven't heard of anyone running theirs hard but that is often the case for 3K+ firearms. Congrats on the R.E.P.R. purchase. I look forward to grabbing one someday. Please post pics/range report, when you can. |

I've seen a few out in the wild. The is a member on the LWRC forum who has one and loves it. I'm guessing that there a few here & there on shelves somewhere, I'm sure there a few safe queens also. Enjoy it, shoot the crap out of it and let us know how you like it.
Found this youtube video, not sure if you've seen this one yet http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ycxQKK1QmVI |

I just watched the video.... I have never seen someone try to put in mags that way. I could see if he tried to rock them in like on a AK or an M14, but he does it backwards. If you're properly trained to load a pistol you will sometimes load a rifle the same. |

Seems odd to me for a company to copy the name of another company's rifle... maybe it is just me. |

Seems odd to me for a company to copy the name of another company's rifle... maybe it is just me. There only ever have been Romans, Greeks and SOF in battles, right? I just figured there was a lack of creativity in naming in the firearms and related accessories industries - like everyone saw 300 and re-watched Gladiator and threw in some buzzwords and decided to name their stuff Ares Spartan Leonidas Praetorian Gladiator Xiphos Kopis Gladius Phalanx Optimized Special Operations Tactical Stealth Cerakoted Grim Reaper of Death Honey Badger Next Gen Battle Rifle |
I love my REPRs. If I were rich, damn right I'd pick up more of them. ![]() I like the look of the one Leonidas that I saw in a local store, though. The Burnt Bronze is a good color. As for the name, I believe that this model was a special run speced out by a distributor or something, so they're the ones that named it. |
