| I have a PWS mk107 (the 7.75 diablo) that came with the cheap magpul stock , im thinking of changing that to a LWRC uciw ultra compact stock :https://www.lwrci.com/p-361-uciw-ultra-compact-stock.aspx , i'd have to change the tube buffer and spring , anybody has any experience with this particular set up? Will it be as reliable as with the factory set up? |

I can't say whether they work or not, but there are after-market anti-tilt buffers: http://heavybuffers.com/images/Products/AC%20Buffer.gif Two issues with that: It won't fit the UCIW stock tube, and the ID of the PWS carrier looks to be a different size than that of other carriers. |

The anti tilt features are at the back of the BCG and both measure at .992in. The enlarged part is for tilt purposes and they work the same. An anti tilt buffer is just silly as the rest of their buffer bs as the tilt pulse is very short . I've run my old AA with no special anti tilt anything and I suppose at about 100,000 rds it might work it's way through the buffer tube--but at this point it's yet to show any wear. Carrier tilt is a nice red herring however. Just to add that I flipped flopped the uppers and both cycle perfectly.
As for the stock and grip the PWS is lacking. |

Are the any disadvantages with installing Magpul UBR stock on PWS mk116 ? Not if you think attaching a boat anchor is a bad thing. I exaggerate a bit of course, but when I got to handle most of the Magpul range at a gun show about a year ago the UBR was only fractionally lighter than the PRS. The ACS may not be as sexy, but it's noticeable lighter and offers more cheek weld area plus storage. |

Clint can probably whip something up, custom-like, that'll fit the LWRC tube. Can't comment on the ID part. |
