Just a quick question.  I got my XLP exchange in the mail yesterday but it won't fit over my barrel.  Yes, it's a .75 barrel.  I am wondering if anyone else experienced this and what did they do.  I sent Cody a message since he is the one that's been helping me...and I really appreciate that.  Anyway, I thought maybe the coating they put on it was too thick?

Did Cody have you slide it over the small end instead of the big end? Just kidding, couldn't resist...

You could pick up a cheap pair of caliper for $15-30 and see where the ID falls free-state.  Also, you can try putting the barrel into the freezer for a few hours and heat the block in your oven at 250F or so.  Be careful, use mitt's, space the block and slip her over quickly.

Actually had this problem with a Bergara I just used for a pistol build.  Just had to break out the emery cloth and take it down until it fit.  Best fit ever for a gas block though!  Wasn't a big deal but took a little while to take it down a few thousandths.

This. I used some 1000 grit to slowly take down the inside of the block. Then I tapped it on. Like the above poster said, fits tight for a great gas leak free fit.
