Picked up this complete 9mm upper from a buddy who's uncle acquired it in an estate sale. Does anybody know who made this barrel and why it would be so thick just up to the front sight? No markings on the receiver or the barrel. The previous owner was also a machine gun collector and this very well could have been attached to a full auto lower at one point, if that makes any difference.
