I am thinking of redoing my 20 inch DI into
a piston, but cant seem to find many pics for ideas..
I am thinking Adams rifle piston with a samson Evo 12
I would look like a big version of my sbr that I just rebuilt.
Figured I would ask the hive mind of ar15.com on this..

I'm thinking about doing the same thing, leaning more to an 18" since I have a 20" A2 for CMP that needs to stay the way it is. I'm up in the air on barrel also, I want stainless, either White Oak, BCM or Black Hole.

You're not going to experience the positives of pistons in short barrels, since the 20" DI system is well sorted out, soft recoiling and clean to start with.

It's not about DI vs Piston or trying to fix a problem, I just want something different.
