I have just purchased a 7" PWS diablo 223 Wylde upper about a week ago. I also got the buffer and buffer tube and all PWS. To start when I got the buffer I put it together and noticed that the charging handle hangs on the padding on the buffertube. I called PWS and they were very rude and made pretty smart comments to me. I guess me being a girl they think I don't know very much.. I was in shock because there have been so many good feedbacks for them.  After a while they sent me a new one. Before that I couldn't shoot the gun because I didnt want them to say well if it wasnt working why did you shoot it, but I couldn't shoot it anyways because the charging handle wouldn't go pass the pad on the buffertube. This morning I got the new buffertube in and every went right together perfect. I go outside in my back yard ( i live in the country on the river in Alabama so my back yard is my range.) So so excited to shoot it finally for the first time.Boom first round second round nothing,
it wouldn't cycle the second round at all. I tried this a few different time afraid of messing something up I just stopped and done some research. I read someone else had trouble and they were saying to use different mags and good ammo and change the followers in the mags, well  I used magpul gen 3, federal ammo in 5.56. Also tried 223 ammo and it still done the same thing. I don't want to call PWS back and say now I have a problem with your upper they will think I'm just making crap up. If anyone has any idea of what could be the problem please let me know. Everything on this gun is from PWS..

Well well people you will never believe it. The piston head is completely missing.. How is this possible. http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii505/Heatherenea93/image_zps73cb8572.jpg

Direct linked. And it looks like you're going to have to call PWS again. Hopefully you get a better customer rep this time.

My triad muzzle device spun off within the first three mags, have a feeling they might not be as good as they used to be.

The piston "head" is removable so is it still in the tube? Also I have called PWS like, 25 times with what are most likely really stupid questions and they have been nothing but helpful. Usually it is Stacey who answers the phone or replies to emails and he has always been more than gracious with me. Everyone wants to find something wrong with ANY company with a good reputation and this sounds like a good example. I do not think they are " treating you bad because you are a girl" They are a good company and they will take care of any legitimate issues with their products.

This person (matters not what gender) seems to have carefully approached the use of this gun responsibly and is having legitimate problems that should be addressed in a courteous manner and the perception (up to now) is PWS has not lived up to it's CS reputation and should step up and address this post haste IMO

Yes, PWS makes a excellent product and even a good CS rep can have an off day but those excuses don't fly.

Don't worry about how many times you have to call CS, call them as often as is necessary. You were supposed to get what is currently the best AR being made and it seems you did not and I would be unhappy and expect better CS from this maker.

I am sure, once these issues have been addressed you will be glad you bought this gun but until then, well, I am guessing you are far from happy and under similar circumstances I would feel the same

Good Evening Heatherenea93,

I’m sorry to hear about your issues and can assure you that we will get you taken care of.

Please send us an email through the contact form on the website and we will get this squared away as quickly as possible.

Mortikai1,

Please also send us an email to let us know if you got the Triad successfully remounted or if you need us to send you some shims for proper timing.  That certainly should not happen either and I apologize for the trouble.
