Allow me to apologize up front, but the search feature and I just don't get along!

There appears to be several 16" bbl models:  12257 - DD Omega X rail and Rogers Super Stock; 12455 - DD Omega X rail, may or may not have an adjustable stock, crowned barrel (no flash hider); 13200 - A.R.M.S. S.I.R. rail and MOE adjustable stock.

Any one have any complaints or comments about the REC7?  For those of you owners, what model do you have?

I have two in 6.8 with the Omega rails and standard flash hider. Currently these are my favorite AR's. The ARMS rail is too heavy and bulky.

The REC7 is a nice rifle. Accurate with a solid and durable piston. My only real complaint was the price but Barrett has lowered that to bring the rifle more in line with the competition.

My brother has one. He bought an upper to mate to a lower he had. It is a very accurate. We both had fired it out to 200 yards with an Aimpoint. Not a hitch or hiccup.

For tactical uses, i like the OmegaX rail, but if its just for sport shooting. the SIR rail ( yes is very heavy ) but will eat up that recoil . otherwise if its for other reasons besides bench shooting, yea stick to the OmegaX

Havnt been able to shoot my Rec much lately due to work being kicked up after obvious reasons, but so far i just got the 5.56 version with omegax rail, magpul BAD lever, put a CTR magpul stock and MIAD grip, and LWRC iron sights and a Aimpoint PRO. cant think of what grip to get, i was thinking the MOE grip like yours Swat. but i do love their angled grip as well. and still open to other options.
