| Well, I have run wolf, federal, and UMC through my new AA build. No cleaning and 700 rounds later, I was amazed at how little carbon was on the piston and BCG. After years of shooting DI as a civilian and also 4 years in the USMC, I can honestly say there is no comparison. This is the way of the future IMHO. |

I had no love for my M16 as it was before the good mags and I didn't have one that wasn't a jammomatic. You also knew that any Drill Instructor would find loads of carbon to gig you on and now I almost feel guilty how little time I spend in cleaning. The old why fix something that isn't broke is a poor line as well, DI broke a system that worked better in how many prior piston rifles? The continued love seems to come from those who never had to do a pushup do to carbon fowling |

Any talk about DI rifles overheated and dirty will immediate labelled as DI haters. |
