I called Hogan Guns after reading about them on the industry page here on AR15.

I had a question about a rifle I have that is identical to the ones they manufacturer and sell, but sold under a different company's name.

If you go to their website you will know which company I bought my rifle from.

Anyway I learned more about how to care for and lube a 308 semi auto from Hogan than from the company I bought it from.

My problem was after two magazines it would not feed.  Apparently the oil that I applied on the bolt, carrier, and upper receiver had already cooked off and everything was dry.  Apparently they all need grease not oil.  Do not believe the advertising they run dry.

I had another problem with the rifle that was solved by just speaking with their customer service.

My rifle is super accurate, having shot it out to 700 yards, and now it no longer has feeding problems, due to keeping it lubed with high quality grease.  I shoot it in place of my bolt gun as it is just as accurate.  It is truly a sub MOA rifle.  For the record I shoot handloads using 175 SMK.

When I am in the market again for a rifle built on this platform I will buy from Hogan Guns.

You guys should check them out.

I also received excellent service from Paul at Hogan Guns.  He not only sold me the parts I needed at a great price, but he installed them at no charge.  He also answered all my emails in a timely manner.  Thanks again for all the help.  Hopefully I can make it out to the range this week to run my H-308 mutt rifle. I'll get to test the heat durability as it is supposed to be 115 this week here in the Phoenix area.

I also own one of the POF/Hogan 308s with a 16" barrel and HSR.  I'm not getting into the business aspect of it, but I will verify that I've put over 1000 rounds through it since I bought it in June.  I've never lubed, never cleaned with more than a dry cloth, and all the different ammo types I've tried have been eaten up with no failures to date.  The gun also consistently shoots sub MOA when I am doing my part, and even when I do stupid stuff like standing red dot rapid fire drills at 100 yds I get 4-6 MOA groups.  The gun they sold me runs exactly as advertised for me and has done so in everything from 40 degree rain storms and 115 degree and 70% humidity sauna days.

They make a fantastic product, and I hope they work their business issues out so both companies can focus on continued success and innovation in the piston AR world.
