Does anyone know which buffer comes in a CMMG piston carbine?

Should be mil-spec.

The engineer at CMMG told me he runs an H2.

Best info I have says they ship with a standard carbine buffer, and that is what my lower kit (not CMMG) came with. I don't have any problems with the function, flawless so far at 150 rounds, but it has more recoil than I think it should have. All the ammo I have used so far is full military pressure and that is what I will probably continue to use, so I guess I will try at least an H and maybe an H2. Thanks for the info.

Any complete lower or rifle I ever bought came with a carbine buffer. Cheaper for the manufacturer and more likely to run everything.
I use an H2 in anything shorter than 16"
