I was planning on building a Sig P556 SBR until I saw a MK107 Diablo for the first time, and it was love at first sight, but I no nothing about them. I'm wondering what you guys can tell me about Primary Weapons and/or the MK107 in particular? How are they? Worth the extra coin (a Diablo runs about $1,800 as far as I have gathered)? And equally important, how available / reliable are AR-style mags in 7.62x39? I know C-Products makes them and I've had good luck with some of their other mags in the past. I'm a fan of the 7.62x39 cartridge and I've always wanted an AR chambered in it, so maybe this is the ticket for me. I'm excited to hear what you guys have to say about them.
Thanks in advance! |

I have this guy: http://www.redstradingpost.com/primary-weapons-systems-special-edition-black-rifle-p-49505.html
It runs and runs even when it gets really hot both ambient and weapon temp. Granted I have not taken any classes where defects could show up, but so far so good. I played with the 7, 10 and 14.5 FA versions and they were even more fun! Mikey |

This is probably a stupid question but do the 7.62x39 AR mags (like those made by C-Products) fit any AR lower? i.e. could I just get the 7" Diablo upper in 7.62x39 and use my current lower in conjunction with the 30-cal mags? That exactly what i'm work on right now.. |

I've got the Diablo and absolutely love it. Runs like a champ and I've never had any issue with it. Check out DSG Arms. They have it for under your $1800 estimate. I believe the OP was talking about the new PWS complete rifles. He was estimating with tax stamp the cost of a factory SBR in the 7 inch Diablo. |

I have the PWS Diablo in 5.56, and it is an amazing weapon. Spec is as follows:
PWS Diablo upper STS Lower with RRA NM 2-stage trigger PWS Buffer tube and buffer Magpul CTR stock Magpul MBUS sights Functions flawlessly. Better than my DI guns. I am currently running magpul mbus open sights, and consistantly shot the 10" gong at 200 meters. The only negative I can come up with is the inability to run a can. The 7.62X39 Diablo is amazing and will work with a can. The c-products mags of old seemed to have stickage problems, but as time has passed, they seem to have fixed that problem. BTW the mags are readily avaliable. Worth the extra coin..... YES. When compared to POF, LWRC and other butique SBR's, the Diablo is less, cycling is less harsh( you dont have a piston slamming into a carrier key), bolt tilt is very little to nonexistant, OH, and lest I forget.... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST!! I wasnt even an owner yet, and they were more than willing to answer any questions, and let me come to my own conclusion as to if this was for me. Im ordering a MK112 in the next few weeks as my dedicated supressor weapon. |

I'm waiting for a couple other toys to sell and I'm all over the Diablo. |
| I own the primary special rifle and a 16 inch upper. I have fired over 30,000 rounds in these guns.As of yet I have had zero problems with these firearms. They have been fired fast, slow, supressed,in all weather conditions. I can say with out a douht primary builds one of the best most reliable rifles I have ever owened. And I thank them for their product and service. |

Beautiful. That's almost exactly how I was planning to equip mine, too. |
