Went shooting with my son today. Took out my recently finished AA piston gun. Took it pretty easy, testing all functions at a slow pace. What can I say, it was perfect!!! Even the sights were almost dead on right out of the box. Sighted in at 25yd, Hit a pop can on the second shot (had to find the elevation). Then we moved out to 100yds and all was good. All spent rounds ended up nice and consistently at around 3:30-4:00. After a few slow shot mags and checking everything, we change our sight picture to our 1' x 3' steel plate at 850 yds. I shot a couple more boxes of ammo and managed to hit it twice, but I sure scared the hell out of it most every shot. I don't have a bipod set so I was just laying it on top of the spotting scope and shooting standing up. My son had his 20' heavy barrel with the scope and we could hit it about 1/4 of the time, which wasn't bad considering the wind was blowing in surges through the draw we were in. Got home and tore it down. Everything looked great, and clean!! I am about as pleased as I could possibly be. I have been collecting parts for the last few months, and the results are everything I had hope they would be.
