Got my Brownells email the other day with the CMMG piston kit for $299. Anybody try this one? I saw CMMG gas piston uppers mentioned here but didn't see the kit mentioned. CMMG Piston Kit

Bought the left handed version of the kit directly from CMMG a few weeks ago. They have a thread on here in the normal ar section somewhere about them.
Haven't had a chance to really take it out yet. Going to try to go out later in the week. Mine is installed on my stag 6.8 upper. |

That is the new CMMG Piston Conversion Kit with their newly designed steel gas block. I have a Carbine and Mid-Length kit in my shop for evaluation, and I have to say, I really like the new CMMG kit over the previous one they offered with the Aluminum Gas Block. Brownells got the description wrong. The picture and price is correct for the new CMMG Kit with the Steel Gas Block, but the listed out the incorrect specs.
