| I think the rail would be much cleaner, more functional, and a better seller if you continued the M-Lok slots on the entire rail rather than leaving the S shapes. Also offering a continuous top rail version with M-Lok slots all the way around. That's what I would buy! Keep up the innovation! |

Yeah, I prefer a continuous rail on top as well. What's with the trend towards the interrupted top rail? Must be a three gun thing. Reduction in weight since most people only mount a pic rail front sight. Same concept as removing the side rails for slick forearms. It's not as useful if you're using a CNVD or IR laser, but if all you have is a front sight it makes sense. |

We chose to continue some of the s cuts to allow backwards compatibility with certain Samson accessories that some of our customers may already have. We will consider this going forward. |

We have wanted to "test" out this profile for a while and thought that the MLOK rail would be an good opportunity to bring it out. A lot of customers have requested an interrupted top rail for a variety of reasons. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! |

I would probably be in for a continuous top rail, full MLOK version. |

Yeah, I prefer a continuous rail on top as well. What's with the trend towards the interrupted top rail? Must be a three gun thing. Exact opposite for me. I want a smooth tube (other than vents/mloc points) other than where I specifically want/need rails. Easily 90% of the AR pictures I've seen have only a front sight mounted on the top rail. Why have the weight and discomfort of a bunch of rail you don't need? Heck, it's mloc....put mloc mounts on top and mount a rail if you need a rail on top. The concept of having a design that supports easily adding rail anywhere you want it but still including permanent rail in certain spots is a head scratcher for me. If you're acknowledging that people's needs with respect to rail varies and are providing a way to easily customize, why permanently put rail anywhere? Shrug...that's why I buy the YHM customizable....rail only where you want it. I have a samson Evo that came on my Stag 3G and I like it other than the top rail. The only rail I use on it is a 2" section on the bottom front for a bipod. I like that it mounts to a standard barrel nut. I'd be all over a Samson EVO mloc that had mloc mount points all around but no permanent rail. |

WITHOUT Thermal bushings I just measured them quickly on our ship scale: 9" - 6.5oz 12.37" - 7.5 oz 15" - 9oz Quoted:

Need weights. WITHOUT Thermal bushings I just measured them quickly on our ship scale: 9" - 6.5oz 12.37" - 7.5 oz 15" - 9oz I am guessing that these also use standard mil-spec barrel nuts like your comp models do? I am also guessing that the nut is not included in those weights? |
