Quoted: Made in USA or imported? The tool is made in China. I would hope you at least handle one before deeming it a POS. Basically, we started out with a stock multitool chassis, and crammed in custom made pieces geared toward the AR user. If you look carefully enough, you can see the difference in the construction/finish; this is not your typical chainstore import tool. |

I just received a couple T&E samples from Shane and initial impressions are good. Seems like a quality tool. Of course I would like to see a US made version but as stated above this isn't a dollar store multi-tool. Very well thought out and will make an excellent addition to my range bag. I have a carbine class on the 20th as well as one on the 27th, I'll be sure to show these around and get as much feedback as possible.

I'm sure many of us wish that we could have everything made in the USA. Unfortunately, we all want things at lower prices as well, and those two don't always go hand in hand. Exactly, still a live saving tool in a compact package. kudos for a cool AR15 product |

Made in USA or imported? The tool is made in China. FWIW, this stopped me from ordering one. +1 Strange that the the guy with the "Made in USA" avatar is promoting this chinese tool.
Not strange at all When buying anything, I always look for a product made in the USA. If there is a USA version available I will gladly pay more for it. Sometimes, there just isn't one. I don't like China, but it's a fact of life that you have and will continue to buy from China. I'll bet you bought something today that was made in China, everyone does as there is no way around it. |

Quoted: Not all Chinese made stuff are POS. If it works good I'll buy it. Thanks, here is a review just posted on MilitaryMorons: http://www.militarymorons.com/weapons/access.html#multi I totally respect the right of those who refuse to consider the tool because it's made in China; but at the end of the day, I just couldn't see any way to recoup my development costs if I offered a $150 made-in-USA tool. |

I got mine's (actually mine, the others are for friends). |

I am.
Hell, it wont even let me log out for that matter. Every time I click it, it just refreshes the page and I'm still logged in. ETA: Its doing that for every item actually. Just for the record, I found out this is an issue with the site and Firefox. In IE I could add it to cart and checkout just fine. I noticed I couldn't read the captchas when sending IM's either, but I could just fine in Explorer. |

Considering the chinese version of a target stand, not surprising they assemble weapons with similar ingenuity... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3555/3618910634_60f3f468c6_o.jpg i'm wondering more about the backstop in that photo. i also try to buy U.S. made stuff when i have a choice and i respect the choices of those who choose to do without. but i wonder, how come when a U.S. company offers us gun-related products at a decent price, we choose not to buy, but don't have a problem typing that on a chinese-made keyboard while reading this site on an asian-made computer screen? for the guys who choose to pass on the multitasker, is the same standard and decision process applied when buying your computer, TV, microwave, home appliances and electronics, or is it just accepted that US-made those things are practically impossible to find? not a criticism or judgement on my part - just a question. i still wear levi's occasionally, but it's been a while since i've seen a US-made pair in the stores. |
