Well, finally sent my accumulated parts off to John Thomas for him to build a GAU 5/A/A:
Colt 604 upper receiver
Colt 16 inch pencil barrel for him to cut down and then pin/weld his moderator and grenade ring
NDS grey A1 lower receiver
Colt vinyl acetate butt stock
Colt 2 position buffer tube with correct castle nut
Colt round carbine buffer
Colt hammer and no tic selector
Colt take down and pivot pins
Colt 6 hole carbine hand guards
Colt mottled A1 pistol grip
Colt retro grey carrier and MP bolt

Can't wait to get it back

You definitely have the makings for a sweet rifle and once J.T. gets done with it I'm sure it will look amazing too!

Sounds like you had it put together other than the barrel work.
Mixed GUA rifles are my favroite

Got the GAU 5/A/A back from John Thomas. She's a beaut!!!! Only 8 day from sending him the parts. Wish I could figure how to post pics on this site. I've tried, but for the life of me can't figure it out. Lol.

Upload your pics to a web site like photobucket. Once uploaded, photobucket will inform you of the URL back to your images. In the toolbar above the writing window, paste the image URL, then click SAVE. Violá! Enjoy.
