Is the going rate for A1 uppers now $150 stripped / $200 complete? Additionally anyone know what 20" CMPC barrels are fetching these days? Only asking as I may want to liquidate one of mine to purchase aforementioned uppers.
Been scouring the EE, and boy is it dry out there. |

It depends on if they are original XM16E1 or M16A1 uppers. It also depends on condition. An original XM16E1 stripped upper can go north of $350 easily. An original stripped M16A1 upper is going for over $200, closer to $300 these days. A C MP C barrel assembly, complete with barrel nut and FSB, can fetch $350-$400 easily. Of course, you have to find someone willing to pay a premium for these items. Guys who are looking for original parts will. Others will buy the 20" 1/12 barrel assemblies from Brownells. |
