I just noticed that Fulton has A1 uppers with NDS forge codes and including sight assembly, teardrop FA and A2 port door for $249.95. Interesting. I wonder who did the finish work.

| I saw that yesterday myself. But then when I did the quick math I realized it isn't that great of a deal. You can buy a stripped A1 upper from Brownells for $150 (and get an extra $10 off and free shipping right now), a rear sight set for $70 or less, and a tear drop forward assist for $15-$20 and come in at no more then $240 total. It has an ejection port door but it is the wrong one anyhow. And the upper is still black so no advantage over one from Brownells. I think their overpriced complete retro rifles are not selling that great so they are selling off some of the upper receivers they acquired for them. |
