| Hey guys. Finally got my A1 done. It has the old 2 piece, 6 hole handguard. I'm interested in adding an angle grip as this seems more of a natural hold. I have found some rail strips that can be screwed into a standard style handguard, but a lot of these rails I'm finding all say made for Magpull MOE. Is there a way to do this utilizing the old school, original 6 hole handguard? |

I pretty much followed the how to guide in the link above, only I drilled the grip screw hole for a 5/16"-18 screw and used a T-Nut ...
...from the hardware store inside the forward vent hole (flange on the inside
Try the grip in both directions. I mounted mine "backwards" it really fits the hand better.) |
