| I have a chance to buy a brand new stripped c7 upper for 65 shipped. It looks like a dpms. It has the splintered A forge code. Should I go for it? I don't really need it but wouldn't mind trading it for something else. Thanks |

Are you asking if it's a good deal? You already stated you didn't need it. They are a little difficult to find right now but same as always. Hard to find today easy to find tomorrow. The DPMS C-7ish items were known for not being machined to spec in charging handle area. First thing I'd do is put a milspec charging handle in it and see if it's smooth running. If not going to need an out of spec DPMS CH also.
When DPMS clearanced them out they were $29-49 depending on where you purchased them. Some still charged more and they sold them. For trade you might find someone who wants it but is it worth the potential hassles for $20 max after shipping and such. Not to me. |
