Ok, I lost the 3/32" roll pins that went to my partial fence NDS 80% lower receivers.
Good possibility that they were never returned from the trip to the engravers.

Anyhow, I know that they are in there just for looks on the NDS lowers, but I want it to look correct.
How long were these pins, do they come close to the top of the hole one each side?

If they are a special length, I may have to call Mike.

I hate driving that long pin, and since it's just there for looks...I've started just getting a couple real short ones and driving them in from each side until they're flush.

I'll measure mine when I get home.

The slotted spring pin we send with the NDS-XM16E1, NDS-601, and NDS-15 lower receivers measures 3/32" x 7/8".

Thanks Harlan, and to all who has offered info.

Now, trying to decide whether to drive shorter pins in from each side. That does sound like an easier way.

Oil the hole real good, oil the pin real good and use a proper roll pin punch (the ones with the lil nipple on the end),, and it's a piece of cake. May want to clean (chase with drill bit by hand) the hole if the receiver is freshly anodized. Just don't go "guerrilla" on it.

FWIW...........I have two NoDak partial fence lowers and had no issue driving the roll pin through. I put a drop of oil in the hole in the receiver, oiled the roll pin and used a roll pin starter guide and she went through with no problems in about 5 seconds.
