The upper, just have the bayonet lug ground off and you are done.
For the lower, it will vary. I used a early 90s Colt 6520 lower with staked 2 position buffer tube on mine. It had all the correct grey colored parts. An original ful auto would have been an A2 lower, marked "M-16A2", greyish in color, 2 position tube with N stock. Some also used A1 lowers, but the later (Heat carbines) used A2s. |
