Walked by it twice before I noticed it sitting on the table at a very small one day show.
Hey that looks like a lightweight 20" barrel I say to myself.
It's a old Colt the guy says, One in Twelve.
Let me have a closer look.
Looks good I'll take it. Wait is that a Colt scope? Yep, Three by Twenty.
Interesting markings on the base. Looks like Texas Air National Guard.
I did good on the scope but I'm not sure on the barrel. I'll put up a post in the appraisal thread.
Caught these out of the corner of my eye on the way out of the show. It pays to make one more pass sometimes especially at these small shows.

So........what did you pay for it? Was the FSB cut to fit under the tube?

Nice scope! I just bought the exact same one here recently.
What's it going on?

I think it will be a good fit for my R6420

Rick the markings on the base of the Colt 3x20 scope are very special, says to me the Colt scope was part of a unit purchase not individual/private and very period correct. Agree it's always worth a second look around the tables before you head out.
