I bought this unit last week.
It came with some cheap Chinese spring, buffer, lock plate, etc, and an unknown M-4 type stock.
I bought it for the tube.
Advertised as "mil spec 2 position", pics looked decent, so I have it.
Finish on the tube is black, a little wear from the stock, raised threads, I haven't had a chance to mic it yet, should be able to tomorrow.
I doubt it's a name brand, doesn't look like an NDS, just curious if anyone might know what manufacture it is.
Also, the stock itself has 4U486 on it, and appears to have a quick detach inlet front end.
Any info appreciated.

Threads don't appear raised in those pics, so not milspec rolled threads.

4U486 is cage code for an actual contractor P&S Products, d.b.a. Molding Solutions. Doesn't mean their product was produced for .mil, just that they've got a real cage code.

Just miced it.
Threads appear to be 1.176,
first area after that is 1.140,
the remainder of the back end appears to be 1.145.
FWIW, the stock in the pic is really tight, a PSA M4 unit I put on it is really loose.

Meh, might be rolled then, after all.  Hard to tell from the photo.  My milspec tubes rolled threads usually look sharper.

The rear end slides into the stock easy, trying to insert the threaded end, just to make sure I wasn't measuring it incorrectly, it won't fit, so the threads do appear to be larger OD.
I just measured an LMT 6 position tube I have and it's the same at the rear, 1.145, but the "step down" area between the rear and the threads is smaller, 1.137.
How many manufactures make 2 position black extensions now?

IIRC they've had the contract for replacement parts for the military in the past; not sure about currently.

Essential Arms still makes a 2 position tube.

Thanks.
I knew there was another, but couldn't recall.
Much appreciated.
