Here is some semi-old school goodness. A few weeks ago, I picked up an old school AR. It has a pre-ban Bushmaster upper (D K marked C7 upper and 14.5" B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 H BAR) and a late ban-era DPMS lower with a 4-pos. mil-spec stock. I recently had a BCM A2X FH pinned and welded on the 14.5" barrel to make it a legal non-NFA length. When I bought the AR, it had an AK-74 type muzzle brake pinned on it. It also came with the SureFire M500A Car15 / M4 Carbine Tactical Dedicated Forend Flashlight and the Aimpoint carrying handle mount. I recently mounted the Aimpoint Comp M2. Took it to the range this morning and it worked great.

That's hot. Very good and functional looking setup.

Everything you need in one nice trim little package.  Looks pretty damn good, just needs a sling.

And I'm sure you're going to add one soon.

With the Gooseneck Mounts, I like the ones with the U-shaped bracket, it adds a little extra support.
