This is a compiled list of the staff workers at ArmaLite, based on lose information.
George Sullivan - president Charles Dorchester - plant manager Eugene M. Stoner - chief engineer Tom Tellefson - plastics engineer consultant L. James Sullivan - draftsman/designer Robert Fremont - chief assistant Robert Enewold - draftsman/designer Doc Wilson - draftsman/designer John Peck - draftsman/designer Warren Runnals - gunsmith In this 1957 Guns Magazine Issue, one can see a image of Warren Runnals that worked as a gunsmith at ArmaLite, also an unidentified someone operating a swaging machine. |
| A name associated with ArmaLite in Costa Mesa CA that I didn't see on the list was the production manager John McGerty who towards the end was in charge of TimberlineHawk which provided parts and service for the AR18/180 rifles following the end of production of the Sterling AR180 in 1983. I believe John McGerty ran TimberlineHawk till it closed in the late 1980s and then he retired. |

The refered list is of the original staff, working at 6567 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood,California, known as the "George's backyard garage"
The post AR-10 ArmaLite at 118 East 16th Street in Costa Mesa, California, would need its own list as some stayed but some left to work somewhere else, people like John McGerty and Art Miller (have no idea when Miller started working for ArmaLite). |

Hi,sorry,i should have specified this as the staff list of the 6567 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, this wasn't to undermine the importance of the 118 East 16th Street in Costa Mesa staff and/or work, some of this info is still new to me,i'm still organising info on this.
Thank you. |
