I've looked through these pics very carefully (nice Type C stock!), and yet for the life of me I cannot find the British chick!
You're not gonna tell me you missed an opportunity for a retro guns and girls pic, did you?? Brother, we are getting old! Seriously, I'm just glad you finally made time to get out shooting. Looks like a beautiful day and a gorgeous location. Wish I could have been there! Where are the .45" holes? |

Awsome scenery. Looks like a great day. Can you walk from your house to scenery like that? For some odd reason long sleeves in AZ in August just doesn't seem appropriate out here on the right coast stereotype but we've had a mild summer. Glad everything ran fine. Your buddy looks like he would make a great SS reenactor. I can also see why he wouldn't want to let go of the 605. Amazing when out shooting there is always a favorite. Buddy has mostly all top tier AR's Les Baer, Knights or better and I never want to let go of them. Uses all Trijicon or better optics too. Not that they shoot any better than mine but they sure look and feel like they would. Thanks for sharing pics.

| Jeremiah's girlfriend Alexandra is gorgeous, and would normally shoot with us, but was feeling really crappy - high fever, etc. We couldn't get her shooting, when normally you can't stop her - she has her own SIG 516. I will definitely get some pics next time we go out. I will try and get permission to use the video of her shooting the MG42 how's that? Then the kid next door has been borrowing tools all day, and my neighbor who's a retired cop showed up with his buddy who's an ex-SEAL team armorer. What he told me about solvent was a real eye opener. pre-season football is on, another neighbor showed up with her friend who was driving a bright yellow ZR1(?) Camaro, and he flies predators...and you guys want something from me? Shit, been a WILD day! |

Nice man, sounds like a good day. And a hell of a view! Your friend would make a intimidating Nazi ! ^^^^^^ No kidding - standing next to Morg he looks like he is 7 feet tall Morg, Thanks for the pics - reminds me of southern Utah where I have been known to sling some lead! Looking forward to the book - good luck picking an author photo. Like the one you show here as has been stated. |

Nice man, sounds like a good day. And a hell of a view! Your friend would make a intimidating Nazi ! He does. It really freaks me out at times, but nicest guy you'll ever meet. Super nice people. I didn't get some things done I thought I would today, but I learned something from the SEAL Team gunners mate - do NOT use solvent to clean your weapons! Seriously. He says it's like acid and will fuck up any decent weapon. He uses a dry bore snake and something called Mpro7? I have to go look it up, but he asked me if he could tear down my 1911 (which I had just gotten done cleaning and oiling) and laughed because he had learned to oil the snot out of things in the Navy as well. He dried most of it, said he uses about 6 drops of oil on a 1911. His carry gun is a SIG 1911 compact that he did the trigger job on and it's unreal - better than mine, and mine was built by an Army AMU armorer. Very nice guy, but the solvent thing freaked me out. Now I need to tear down all my ARs again!

Still, I did pretty damn good even with a blurry sight picture. Definitely kill zone. (The target pics are on my cell phone and with coverage what it is, I may not have them until tomm. )
