.sounds like you are talking about a completed A2 lower, not an 80%'er?     There are a couple guys that can do 80% A2's to A1 reprofile, but they don't have FFL's ,so could not do the same to a completed lower. Not sure of anyone with an FFL that does it.

Yea. I am looking with someone with an ffl because I know nothing about 80% receivers.

What about a Nodak Spud retro lower?  Any reason you want to rework something that would wind up more difficult and expensive?

Gotcha.  I didnt know what you were after.  From my reading, once you reprofile, you would need to reannodize, and possibly engrave depending on the project.  I didnt want you to go down a long and expensive path that would be equivalent to a Nodak for 3x the price.

Edited to add:  If its the wait you want to avoid, you might want to keep your eyes out for a Nodak on the EE.  It seems one was sold just yesterday...

I would like to know as well. I leave the States in 6 months and can't wait a year for an NDS.
