I have a franken gun that is closer to a circa 1969 AR-15 than anything else.  My only beef with it is that it has the correct 1 in 12 twist barrel, which obviously limits my choice on bullet weights.  Who is the preferred barrel manufacturer that would keep the A1 profile, but bring it up to a more modern 1 in 7 twist?

I believe McKay usually stocks that barrel but I think probably out of stock......are you interested in selling the 1-12 you have?
I would be possibly interested in it....as I am still waiting on Green mtn for their A1 barrel.

DEZ Arms makes a nice 1-7 LW profile 20" and I believe if not in stock currently should have some pretty soon.  No afilliation.
