Has anyone ever ordered from Tarheel Ordnance? I placed an order on March 1 for a 1918 BAR sling and a Matech BUIS, and have not received an order confirmation. Pay-pal went through and it also shows on my credit card statement. Just wondering if they bother with order confirmation and your stuff just showed. I am going to send an E-mail tomorrow.

| I've used them a bunch. Were known for there bargain shipping and good pricing for surplus parts. With last frenzy, things have escalated a bit and most the pieces haven't been replaced in stock or simply deleted from www.. I did have an order refunded after being billed for some Colt bolts where they were gobbled up after my order was placed but that happens. |
| Very Good People, they called me as well. Told me they found an item that was shown in stock but it was out of stock only to be found again.(prolly stumbled upon a box in the wrong area sourcing another order) To make a long story short they did me a solid and shipped it for free. |

44cho10,
I never had a bunch of luck with them responding to my e-mails but everything I ordered showed. I was inquiring about chrome and MP marked Colt bolts when they had MPC and MPF. Think they finally responded with sorry but no. Think it's really a small outfit. They have had the BAR slings and Matechs for years. I just usually find Matechs on e-bay for $30ish NIW and never have used a BAR sling. Think BAR's are getting more popular in retro and definately much less coins than most ask for un-issued. Think last order of 6 bolts was $2 shipping before Adolf II but we're just across the border. |
| My parcel was in the mailbox when I got home from work. Well packed in a heavy envelope. Both items new in military packaging as described. I would order from Tarheel Ordnance again. I am used to places sending an order verification e-mail and a shipping notice, apparently that doesn't happen with these guys. |

That's because the person taking the orders, and writing down product numbers off web orders is prolly grabbing parts and shipping to boot. |
