It's probably just me...

But today I decided I was bored.

Now I have a GAU-5A and an M16A1 where there used to be an Early R604 and XM177E1.

The lower on the R603 was swapped from my 6.8 652ish gun.  So now it's full fence and type-E on the 603 and partial fence and D on the 6.8.

And when it's all said and done, I'd trade that vintage slick side upper on the GAU-5A for an A1 upper and put it back in XM177E2 mode, but I didn't have the parts on hand in gray.

That XM177 is sweet!! You near the Titusville area? I'd love to check that out, been kicking around the idea of building one for a while now.

I'm in the Tampa area.

The M16A1 has a slip ring.

The GAU-5A is supposed to have a delta.

The Pseudo 652 is the parts beast; so it doesn't rate a slip ring.

I like that middy...hell, I like all of them! The 649/630 always just looked 'right' to me.
