I've seen some references to something like this being shown at SHOT, but not heard anything since.
Any truth to the speculation; is Colt going to build a 607-style carbine with a 10.5" bbl and a long enough p/w  flash hider to make it legal?
Any info would be a help.

There were some pics shown here awhile back of some 'retros' Colt was looking at building - basically an A2 upper with triangular HGs and one of those silly 5.5" XM177 moderators. In other words, you can do better building it yourself.
