that is a "cadog" not quite cat, not fully dog.
had one the would meet me at the door every time I came home.
would wait till he got a pet on the head.
sleep at my feet every night,
circled a few times before settling.
would answer to his name and come
liked to roll over.....

This is one I took years ago of Buffy.  Lost her just over a year ago, and still miss her.  I was taking some of my rifles out to clean them and when I came back to put them away I found her sound asleep.  Evidentally she decided my Garand needed company.

I don't remember which one is in the photo, so I'll have to get you pictures of both of them.

The serial numbers are: E6030XX manufactured on or around 1915 and E7439XX manufactured on or around 1925.

Post pictures of yours as well (with cat or dog if possible).

David

Thanks. Everyone of the four legged children are rescues,
Little Sapphire was a surrender by a 71 year old lady that got her as a puppy thinking she could handle her.
Then at 8 months old the poor thing is sitting in a shelter.
