Anyone waiting on me to contact or ship something and the mods since this post isn't completely on topic.
This is an older pic of Blondie holding my Stevens clone from awhile back,
The big guy sniffing the floor is Rex.
Long short we have been running Rex to several vets/specialists over the last couple days.
Rex lost his fight with cancer today and Blondie and I are a little F'ed up right now
As soon as my head is on straight I will get with everyone I need to, sorry all.

Robert

We've seen him almost as much as Blondie in your pics.

Sorry man. I lost my husky and lab 6 months apart
Over a year ago. They were 13 and 14.  I could have bought
A nice gun every month for what their vet bills cost. But they were family.
Between the the shoulder and your dog, hope you guys catch a break

Sorry to hear that Robert (and Blondie)!

I'm dreading the day we loose on of our guys as I still think about the last one I lost 13+ years ago.

Deeply felt condolences, old son--and to Blondie, too.
Good dogs give us more than we could ever hope to repay, and anyone who's felt that understands how hard it is to lose a loyal friend.

If there's such a place as heaven, I'm sure our dogs will all be waiting there for us.  Not because we've earned it, but because they have.

I feel for you. I lost Taj a year ago and still miss her. It does get easier though. It's a hard thing to go through when you are close to a dog. They are a member of the family, something non-dog lovers don't get. Hang in there.

Robert and Blondie,  my deepest condolences.  Rex (Bingo) sure added a little flavor to your outstanding builds and photos.  I'll throw a little humor to smooth the moment.
Remember the post where someone asked what kind of cat the little dog was? Hope your shoulder is healing up!

Man that sucks I lost mine of 10 years to mouth cancer last year around Christmas.  How a dog gets fucking mouth cancer is beyond my fucking belief.
And I'm still pissed about it.

That was me asking about the cat.

My sympathies to you and Blondie, RRiggs.

The "cat" was my miniature schnauzer, Morgen. Lost her exactly 11 months ago yesterday. By the time the photo you saw of her was taken, she had been diabetic for several months and wasn't doing too well. I miss her every day. Was hard to lose Rex yesterday. He was a great dog. It sucks losing one, but wouldn't trade the time with them for anything.

If God made anything better than a dog, he kept it for himself.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

My lab had had a seizure one day on a walk, vet said she was diabetic.
5 days later she was blind. We did insulin and some other mess
And she got along great blind. But there was the one time I accidentally
Walked her into a fire hydrant !

When  'my' friends would call, the first thing they would ask was ' How is Taj'? Not how I'm doing. how she was doing. It's been a year and am still having trouble with getting another dog, due to being logical about a future work schedule. Next dog might be a Jack Russell who will possibly be a better long range travel companion? I really miss having a dog, but am very fortunate to be staying with a friend with two great canines. They show us the best and worst of us. Not sure how to say it better than that.

Well played, Sir.

Now as to the critters that owned Blondie and Riggs, I have never understood whether dogs' lives are too short, or ours are too long.......

Not sure which way it goes, either. Most days I'd definitely say theirs are too short. One of my favorite "dog sayings", not sure who said it, is "Dogs are not our whole lives, but without them our lives would not be whole."
