| I have been on a fruitless search for a 605 upper with the milled off hump. I am looking for one of the NDS ones specifically because if you scroll down to the bottom of their web page in the photo of "battlefield pickup" service they offer it still has one of them in it. Short of finding one for sale would it be possible to buy a partially finished receiver and have it milled the early 605 way? Any help would be appreciated. this is starting to keep me up at night. |

Any help would be appreciated. this is starting to keep me up at night. finding a partially finished receiver will be the hard part. a1 forgings aren't readily available and if you do find one, it'll more than likely be a c7 so you'll have to mill off the brass deflector too. your best bet is to find a used nds. |

The 605 battlefield pickup you speak of on the NDS site is mine. I requested Mike to give it that look about 2 years ago when I purchased it. Wish I would've purchased another 605 upper at that time.
Building a model 605 dedicated 22LR I've used that upper/lower to build my 605 dedicated 22LR.
