[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ident marking question

When Ident sends the lower to the FFL guy, does Ident send you an email to let you know ?

I know how busy Ident is and I didn't want to bother them with a question..

Ident returns the lower to whoever sent it, usually the owner, not necessarily a FFL.
and there is no notification, just a happy mailbox suprise.
and there is little rhyme or reason to wait times, its beeen less than a week and more than 6 months.

I bought the lower fron Nodak. They shipped it to Ident. IIdent will ship it to my FFL because it is illegal for them to ship it to me..... I was wondering if the members here had received a courtesy email from Ident saying that the lower was shipped .

i see, thats a different case,as its not been 4473'd yet.
no, they have never sent me a heads up, it just appears.

Hey Guys..

Jeanne from Ident sent me an email last week to let me know my lower was done and ready to be sent to my FFL..

She asked if the bill should be sent with it or if I wanted to call her directly and make payment over the phone. which is what I did..

Later that day she sent me the tracking # which I forwarded to my FFL...

Can't ask for more than that..
