Nooooo! Don't lock!

I never realized the H&R bolt catches had an H on the side. I have one without an H, and I've pulled some broken ones out of GM demils. None of the demils had any marking except the circled number on the face. This leads me to believe H&R's are discernible from GM's. Sweet!

Does anyone else have one either with or without the H mark? If so, where did it come from?

Sure did boywonder777, $25 to my door. Figured if I held out a better priced one would eventually come along, but thanks for the offer anyway Ice_tee.

So the question now would be are the ones w/o the H on the side GM (since GM stamped all their stuff uniquely) or were there both styles in H&R, with & w/o the H? Or were GM bolt stops plain? I would think they would not be since everything else (lower receiver parts) they had, had a similarly marked stamp. Just a question.

The one I have coming has the H on the side & a # 3.

I've pulled two broken bolt catches out of GM demil receivers and they were marked with the circled number, but lacked any other marking. Also got a nice marked  catch from jhud early this year and it was the same as the demils, no H.

Does the H look like a stamp or is it a forge mark? If stamped I would assume that H&R got them from the same sub contractor as GM, and stamped them with the H in house. Just a thought.....

ETA: HK, did whoever you just picked one up from have any more? I really need one as well, hoping for worn but I'll take anything. IM inbound.

Happy to hear that you got this great looking bolt catch, was a good choice to hold out
with such a nice retro community; hopefully we will all find what we are looking for
