Do they email a tracking number or do you just get your stuff one day unannounced?
I'm frustrated because the good communication stopped as soon as my lowers were delivered to them. I'm not worried, just want an answer. |
| They did one for me a couple months ago. About five weeks after I shipped the lower to them I emailed Ident - they responded right back and advised it had been completed and was headed my way. They also provided a tracking number. Don't know if they would have notified me anyway or not. Just shoot them an email and request the tracking number when the receiver is returned. By the way - they do excellent work. |
| I always had good experiences with them. I've had them do about four jobs and they were very customer friendly. They even answer the cell phones listed on their website. I don't recall getting tracking numbers from them (I might have and just don't remember). I seem to remember calling one time and they said it was sent a few days before my call. |
| It's been taking all my will power to not send a constant, "Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet?" |

They do good work but they don't let you know when they send the stuff back to you. It just shows up one day.
I have sent them five projects. Two of them I got back about two weeks after they received them. One project was three weeks. One project was four weeks. One project was five weeks. All the projects were the same level of complexity. It just depends on how busy they are. Be aware also that you have to be home to sign for the package. |

Replacing the SBR lower would really cost them. But I'll bet nothing goes wrong. The rifle lower is more easily replaced, but they're sequential serials...
Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Makes you wonder how I survived the wait for two Form 1's doesn't it?
They did reply to an email and indicated that it'd be "one or two weeks". That changes the original estimate of 2-3 weeks to 3-4 weeks. That's an indication of being busy to me. While it's a delay I kinda want them to be busy, because that means they'll be in business next time. And there will be a next time... |

Let the fretting begin in earnest.
26Jun12 was three weeks of the original 2-3 weeks. 03Jul12 was four weeks of the amended "in a week or two" I got at the end of week 2. I hate estimates that have no basis in reality at all. Could be tomorrow, could be a month; and I hate not knowing. |
