I don't think that his is a case of real inflation, I think this guy is really proud of his rifle. I could see around $2k maybe, but $3k is rediculous. The only AR I would ever consider paying/trading $3k for would be an unfired 1 or 2 digit SP1.

I'm seeing a steady rise prices in everything AR related. I have no doubt in my mind that much of this is due to the coming election and both regular folks and fiends are poised to cash in on the ensuing frenzy to come. Some vendors have already shutdown direct sales.
