I'm considering an XM177E2 build and was wondering what the best source for a faux moderator would be. I know that certain companies have done small productions of them in the past and would rather have something more original looking than a 5.5" flash hider if possible. I DO have a registered SBR , so a 4.5" non-suppressor moderator on an 11.5" barrel  isn't an issue.

If you mean one like member Brick has for sale over on RBR then they are very nice. I have one on my build.

+1 to Brick. His work is as close to the real thing as you can get IMO.

He has them on gunbroker and RBR, but you can shoot him an IM here too.
